I love this store. I have two turtles. The owner is extremely helpful and concerned about your pet. Please consider this store long before you go to some big corp. box store. You are instantly contributing to your local community when shopping here. ❤️
I was excited to see this place, I found some fish that I really wanted, but the price on fish was ridiculously high. Owner said its because they are wild caught, I understand, but why would I need wild caught fish in my tank? a 4-5 inch peacock cichlid is almost 100 dollars, almost like a salt water fish. I came out with nothing although I really wanted to buy some fish. The owner ( the young guy) was very nice and friendly though I give him that.
The owner is super friendly and very knowledgeable. Some of the most healthy reptiles I have ever seen

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!! I thought i was doing a good thing by supporting a "black owned business" but I was all wrong! I was supporting a small weirdo man that is a stick in the mud! The merchandise is way overpriced! Don't spend your money on nothing but feeder fish otherwise if something die or something go wrong with your merchandise, you are out of luck! And instead of trying to make the loyal customer whole, the lil weirdo "owner" will try to get more money out of you! I will never return to this place again. PETSMART here I come! Only good thing about woodland tropical is, it's in the community. Ripping all of us off!!! I'll go the extra mile for good customer service and reasonable store policies!!
